Plan Styles
Colonial character with a 3 car garage
This uniquely styled home is enhanced by dramatic roof and dormer masses and a wrap around veranda to create a beautiful home that can fit on a deep, narrow lot.

A cozy fireplace in the main living area is visible from the dining area and the large kitchen island. The separate laundry/mud room with counter and utility sink has its own entrance to the garage and an adjacent powder room for extra convenience. A home office on this level can be converted into a fifth bedroom if required.

The second floor has three nicely sized secondary bedrooms that share their a complete bathroom with double vanity and access through a pocket door to the shower/toilet enclosure. The stunning master suite has a walk in closet, and the master bathroom features a double vanity and separate bath and shower as well as a toilet enclosure for extra privacy. A large, 14’ x 30’ bonus living space above the garage can be used as a second living room or game room, the perfect feature for today’s blended families

    Hi there,

I was looking at these house plans and can't seem to find the ceiling height for the bonus living space above the garage. I was wondering if you guys could provide me with this information?

    Thanks in advance

    • Jessica 20 December 2018

Hello Mitchel and sure! The bonus space above the garage has a ceiling height of 8'-0'' and is sloped.

      Hoping this will help you!

  2. Molly 5 August 2013

Is the rough building cost in Canadian or US dollar?
    Thank you!

    • Customer service 6 August 2013

Good day and thank you for taking the time to write.

The estimate that appears is now $420,000 due to increases in materials and labor costs and is a ballpark figure in Canadian dollars for construction in Quebec, Canada.

The best way to get a more specific idea of the actual cost to build in your state would be to contact local contractors and/or materials suppliers.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or comments.

  3. Shelley 11 April 2011

    Hi there.

Is it possible to give a rough cost to build this house, including finished basement. I'm only looking for a rough cost as I know that costs vary depending on finish.

    • Customer service 13 April 2011

      Dear Shelley,

Thank you for your interest in Drummond House Plans.

The only prices we have are provincial averages for Quebec, for the plan as shown on our website. These prices may not be accurate for Ontario. The price we have for this house is $340,000 to $382,000. That is with unfinished basement. Since the price depends on what your needs are for the basement, we cannot provide a cost unless you have the plan modified to your requirements, and ask for an estimate cost of construction.

Please contact me again if you need further information. I will gladly answer any questions you may have.

      Best Regards,

      Doreen, Customer Service Department
