Increase the square footage of the house to gain bigger rooms on the same floor. Add a garage or a car port. Give the new house a different look.

After verification of the different municipal by-laws we opt for a car port since there isn't enough room for a garage. Two additions are considered, one in the front, the other one in the back. A new roof structure is aso proposed which could eventually be used as a second story. The new volumes combined to the new interior spaces meets all the expectations, in particular , as far as the look is concerned.
