Add to the back of the house, a good sized den/solarium type of room with an access to the back- yard.

The den being large enough we redesign it by adding transoms to each opening and consequently a nine foot ceiling. The use of an acrylic compound and recycled bricks conveys a lightness totally appropriate to a volume of such size.
