1. Q. Would it be possible to get a material list for my modified design, and if so, what does your material list include?
A. Yes! It is our policy to offer a material list for any modified design, for an additional fee. Our material lists provide a complete and detailed list of the items required to build your home, excluding finishing accessories, decorations, appliances and mechanical items.

2. Q. What is the difference between a full or right reading reverse and a mirror reverse set of plans?
A. A full reverse or right reading reverse will help you read and understand the plans better, as opposed to a mirror reverse where all the writing will be backwards.

3. Q. Can I get a full or right reading reverse of my plans?
A. Yes! Any house plan can be reversed, we are equipped with CAD technologies that allow us to reverse even older plans drawn by hand which are not available in current CAD drawing programs.

4. Q. Will my home plans be stamped?
A. Our stock home plans are not sold with a stamp (architectural or engineering seal), although, we can provide you with referrals to engineers who can provide you with the SITE SPECIFIC engineering (Not Available for all states and provinces). Please call for more information.

5. Q. Would it be possible to get a material list for a modified design, and if so, what does your material list include?
A. Yes! It is our policy to offer a material list for any modified design, for an additional fee. Our material lists provide a complete and detailed list of the items required to build your home, excluding finishing accessories, decorations, appliances and mechanical items.

6. Q. Can I use your customization service to modify my plans to meet local building code requirements?
A. Yes! We recommend that you use our services to upgrade your plans so that they meet your local regulations. Ask your building inspector for a list of items that must be completed, added or modified. You may also employ the services of a local architect or engineer.

7. Q. Who is responsible for changes made to my plans?
A. Drummond is responsible for the custom changes done on any plan they modify. They will not be liable for any defects in the original design (if designed by someone other than Drummond Designs). The original designer cannot be held responsible for any modifications done on the original unless the original designer makes the changes himself.

8. Q. What is included in a set of plans?
A. Most sets of architectural plans contain an average of 10 to 12 pages of full construction details and are drawn in ¼ inch scale. All four exterior elevations are included with each set of blueprints.
