If I wanted this would made 2' or 3' sq. larger with 9' finished ceiling heights, would it distort the beauty of this house?

With brick, the lacy trim work could be applied to the surface and kept. If stone is used, the trim work could be kept if the stone is not too much textured. The trim work could not be applied to the surface of a heavily textured stone.

Could one still have this beautiful lacy trim work if brick or stone was used instead of cement board or siding on the outside?
