Comfortable accessibility for all!
Following a survey on our website and through the participation of nearly 500 respondents, we are pleased to introduce the first of two plans designed for people with limited mobility or confined to a wheelchair. This design in not only ideal for the residents but also allows the home to easily accommodate guests or visitors of all abilities.

A slight exterior ramp is aesthetically pleasing and a door sill set into the floor allows barrier-free access. This also applies to the back of the house where we find a beautiful sheltered terrace of approximately 18 ft x 12 ft.

Inside, this house is characterized by 5-foot wide corridors, and the particular care given to enlarge spaces and include widened doors for easy access and movement in different rooms. The interior also features a kitchen with dual-level bar for inclusive meal-times, an adapted bathroom with laundry included, double vanity and adjustable shower combined with a bath with lots of storage and integrated grab-bars. For further comfort, note the presence of heated concrete slab floors, additional care to the lighting of activities areas and 9 ft ceilings throughout.
Plan description
1st level: Second bedroom or office with Murphy bed, kitchen-dinette, dining room, living room, bedroom and a bathroom/laundry room. Bonus storage above the garage and accessible via a retractable staircase.
Distinctive elements
Interior is limited mobility accessible featuring expanded circulation spaces, partially lowered counters in the kitchen and the bathroom, wider interior and exterior doors as well as wider access spaces. 9 ft ceiling on the entire ground floor. Island in the kitchen. Built-in furniture and storage in the kitchen and dining room. Living room has a fireplace. 1 bedroom with walk-in closet. Bathroom features a dual height vanity and a shower that is large enough for wheelchair access. Washer and dryer area with storage. Sheltered 17 ft x 12 ft terrace at the back.

    What furniture is built in in the dining room?

      This house is designed for a person in wheelchair. The dining counter are lower, and so is the table that you will buy to better accomodate your needs.

    Cost of this plan with a full, or partial basement? How could the garage be expanded to a, Two Car? Finally, is there a non-handicap version of this plan?
