A celebrity plan with our American neighbours

One plan which pleased our American neighbours upon its arrival on the market, model 2688 for which the designer worked diligently in order to meet the requirements put forth by the directors of an American contest. This contest’s aim was to satisfy the needs of numerous “boomers” by designing an affordable house format within 20002 feet of living space, excluding garage, bonus space and basement; A very frequent demand at this moment in the United States and more and more so in Canada.

In this way, the main level is maximized by the near absence of a hallway and the presence of a very well organized master suite adjacent to an abundantly windowed activities center and adorned by a vertical sunroom over two storeys for a more than remarquable interior effect. The upper level, for its part, suggests two bedrooms, a playroom and a bathroom, all well spread out at the top of the stairs and once again maximizing liveable square footage.

Other notable facts for this model: first, access to either a porch, a balcony or to a terrace from each of the bedrooms, from the living room and from the breakfast area for which a covered terrace will certainly be much appreciated. Next, that vast bonus space which we find above the garage and to which we gain access from the garage and from the upper level for even more convenience. Finally, model 2688A, reversed and of a different colour, in order to meet other expectations.
